Casework

Hashing out some massing for a casework entry feature in a recent interiors project.

Sketching

Some alcove casework for an interiors job, primarily looking at the brow piece. I also sprinkled some furniture sketches in there as well. Spontaneous thought.

Mixed Use Evolution

During extreme creativity droughts (internships), I found myself thinking of fictitious projects on fictitious sites. This was one of those thoughts. Loosely based on a project in Bend, this is a mixed use building envisioned as an infill project - a program that proliferates the inner Portland core. It's rough and unfinished with a coherent theme. Looking back, I have to ask - can it be architecture without a site? Regardless, these kinds of exercises kept me sane at the time.

Mark O. Hatfield Courthouse - podium

Freehand sketching . . . you can still see a little struggle with the perspective, but it works.
